As down the Road I boldly Stride

As down the road I boldly stride

My faithful dog walks at my side

There is no need for us to hide

Or bow our heads to mask our pride

For there is much for us to see

The world is large and time is sort

And so we choose to wander free

In life's web we won't be caught

We breathe the air and smell the breeze

Feel the sun and see the view

It's only us we have to please 

As down the road we start anew
